Fifth section - POETRY

FIRST CATEGORY - poetry
SECOND CATEGORY - essay
Participants are to be divided into the following age groups:
First group - under 15
Second group - under 19

Rules for participation:
Those willing to participate have to send a poem or essay, which by all means must not be published, on the topic “Children’s amazed eyes”.
Each participant can send a piece in every section.
Pieces are to be done on paper in 3 copies and on an electronic source, together with a reference about the author.
The works that have been accepted are going to be performed live at a Literary reading.
After a selection by a commission appointed by the organizational committee, it is going to nominate 10 poems and 10 rhymes, which are to be published in a book.
The competition is anonymous. Works have to be submitted in a sealed envelope, where a smaller, not transparent sealed one is put, containing the application form with the name and address of the author, telephone number /using a model/ and a document certifying paid participation fee.
Participants are not going to be personally informed about the results of the selection at the competition. You can find results on selected performers and those awarded on 30.03. 2006.

All participants pay their expenses, connected with their stay in Varna.

Evaluation criteria: unique and comprehensive expressing in poetic terms, good thinking competence within the framework of essayistic form according to the required topic.
