SECOND CATEGORY Black and white drawing – free technique

Participants are to be divided into the following age groups:
First group - under 7
Second group - under 12
Third group - under 15

Rules for participation:
Every participant can send one piece of work in section on topic: “Children’s amazed eyes.” Techniques are free.
Drawings have to be on drawing paper, size 35/50 or 45/50. They have to be owned by the author, not imitative or shared and to be by the child himself/herself.
The competition is anonymous. Drawings have to be submitted in a sealed envelope, where a smaller sealed, not transparent envelope is put, together with the application for participation and a label - all written using a model in Bulgarian or English with capital letters, containing the following information: name, surname and family name, date of birth, sex, nationality, name of the drawing, home address, telephone number, e-mail, and a document for paid participation fee for 10 euro. using bank account.
After a selection by a commission appointed by the organizational committee, there are going to be nominated not more than 20 drawings in each age group. They are going to be exhibited in a special hall from 01 July till 10 July 2006 and published in a catalogue as well.
In the drawings there are not to be included any words or sentences with advertising connotation.
Drawings that have participated in other competitions are not to be accepted.
If the author says clearly “drawing to be returned” in the form, all pieces are going to be sent back until 31.12.2005 against payment.
Drawings must be sent by mail as printed stuff without frames and mount.
Authors have to pay transportation of their drawings FOB Varna. Organizers are not going to transport any drawings that have been sent to another destination.
The “Goldfish” foundation guarantees safety of the drawings received from the date of receiving until the date of return. It is not to be responsible for drawings that are damaged or lost during their transportation.
The “Goldfish” foundation has the right to reproduce the drawings exhibited and publish them in its own editions as well as advertise them in similar ones.
If authors disagree, they have to notify about that in their participation application.
The “Goldfish” foundation thankfully accepts drawings donated for the “Children’s amazed eyes” fund and requests authors to specifically claim their will as donators in the donation certificate enclosed with the participation application form.
Names of donators are going to be quoted in Internet on the festival site, and the drawings that have been donated are going to be exhibited in future exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad.
Drawings that are awarded are going to be kept in the “Goldfish” foundation fund.
All participants pay their expenses, connected with their stay in Varna.

Evaluation criteria: unique technique, composition and mastership of performance.
