Competition for composing an author’s song for children and youths: music, lines, arrangement on the topic “Children amazed eyes”.
Rules for participation:
All composers without age limit are eligible to participate.
The author has the right to present a song, piano and text, on paper and electronic source, and a CD with a record of full playback and instrumental. The song must not have been published, copied or broadcast on radio and TV until it takes part in the competition.
It is an anonymous competition. Songs have to be submitted in an envelope, where a smaller envelope is put, sealed and not transparent, with an application for participation, declaration for copyright /using a model form/ and a document certifying paid participation fee.
No inscription whatever must be seen on the envelope so that anonymity is kept.
Duration of works should not be more than 4 minutes.
After a commission makes selection ten songs are to be admitted into the final round of the competition. Those songs are to be performed by a live performer with an accompaniment or instrumental recorded on CD.
The author’s team can be represented by one member who has a written declaration claiming the other members’ agreement.
The author is obliged to have an arranger and performer for presenting his song.
The songs that are accepted are going to be published on CD or audio cassette.
All participants pay their expenses, connected with their stay in Varna.
The criterion for appraisal of the compositions is: a synthesis of music, text, arrangement and commitment to children's problems.
