On 9, 10 and 11 July 2004 there was carried out the Second “Goldfish” international competition for children’s and young people’s popular song again on the stage of the Open-air theatre in Varna. Chairman of the professional jury was again Prof. Victor Chuchkov. There participated 68 competitors. The competition had the slogan “The song makes my day meaningful” and was dedicated to managing risk behaviour among young generation because the Foundation works on the National programme for prevention against various types of dependence, aggressive behaviour and other types of non-social deeds. The long-term friendly and partner relationships between children in the course of the Competition contributed mostly for their  personal enriching and development. The universal language of music bridged the language barriers between different cultures and ethnic groups. During the Competition there worked an International children’s summer vocal academy led by Senior Assistant Mila Mavrova – lecturer in the “Bishop Konstantin Preslavsky” university on Shoumen. Prominent and renown lecturers and performers with international recognition took part in it. There was a discussion on ”Future stars – a problem, reality or dream of… mum, dad and granny…”. The competition was shot and broadcast on Efirna TV Varna. Boryana Hristova – prize- winner of GRAND-PRIX ’03 and Nikolay Grigorov – prize-winner of GRNAD-PRIX ‘04 received invitations for participation in Italy where they were awarded prizes: Boryana received GRAND-PRIX ’04 and Nikolay – a honorary diploma and the prize of the audience.
